Academic Framework
The Sino Global Program offers over 70 courses, weaving together eight foundational subjects into a unified educational network, including the natural sciences, humanities, social sciences and the arts. Through this intentionally inclusive academic landscape, we support every student in discovering their intellectual passion and defining their distinct academic identity through interdisciplinary exploration.

The program employs Subject-Based Differentiation, allowing students to select appropriate challenge levels in subjects such as Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry and History according to their individual strengths. This structure empowers students to explore areas where they naturally excel.
The three-year course follows a deliberate progression, guiding students toward a focused academic direction:
Grade 10 | Broad Exploration, Identifying Strengths
Students engage with multiple disciplines to uncover their areas of strength, laying the cognitive groundwork for focused, advanced study ahead.
Grade 11 | Rigorous Depth, Strengthening the Record
Students engage with a demanding core curriculum and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Through rigorous academic assessment, they deepen their disciplinary expertise and build a strong Grade Point Average (GPA).
Grade 12 | Sustained Inquiry, Bridge to University
This final high school stage challenges students to pursue independent, focused inquiry in their chosen fields, demonstrating intellectual dedication and research capability while building the skills needed to thrive at university.

Core Competency Development: The Global Impact Program (GIP)
Transcending traditional subject boundaries, we view academic pursuit as intrinsically linked to real-world impact and responsibility. Beyond the standard curriculum, the Global Impact Program (GIP) is the intellectual heart of the WLSA academic experience. The GIP is not a single course, but a coherent program of integrated courses woven throughout the high school years, systematically designed to shape academic skill, global perspective and leadership capacity.
Within the Sino Global Program context, the GIP curriculum is continuously shaped by both subject requirements and student development. The courses equip students with a robust academic and cognitive base, while the diverse seminar pathways allow for cross-disciplinary thinking and the ability to communicate complex ideas. The Humanities Lab experiences and cross-cultural literacy modules cultivate a worldwide outlook and a sense of empathy essential for thriving at global universities.
